Sound English Level 2 Pack 1 – Books 1-10

Description

The Level 1 books received a very enthusiastic response from students and teachers. As their confidence increased, many students asked for stories with more text. We have provided these in Level 2, again built around topics that include characters and settings with which students can easily identify.
The twenty books in Level 2 introduce the sounds (phonemes) and their spelling choices (graphemes) not covered in Level 1. Readers can continue to gain confidence by building upon words that were introduced in earlier stories.
Many teachers have commented that the illustrations in the Preliminary and Level 1 books provide an excellent focus for discussions, so the same style has been retained for Level 2. Tutor’s notes emphasise discussion topics and teaching points.

It is also possible to mix Sound English Readers from different levels to make up a quantity of 10 or more and receive the discount price of $6.95 by contacting The Language People office directly.
