The explanations are followed by exercises to practice points as they are introduced, plus classroom activities for speaking, and suggestions for further work. There are 95 sections, including declension and conjugation tables (400 plus verbs), a pronunciation guide, and a Russian and an English index. British English is used, but an attempt has been made to avoid expressions that might confuse speakers of American English.
