She writes picture books and poetry on her big back porch in a little town near Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Claudia Navarro has illustrated many books for children , including the critically acclaimed La Frontera: El viaje con papa / My Journey with Papa for Barefoot Books. She says she hopes to be like the grandmother in this story one day. Claudia lives in Mexico City, Mexico.
