Communicate in Greek for Beginners: Textbook 1 + Audio Download

The Communicate in Greek for Beginners course consists of a course book, two workbooks and downloadable audio, and contains the material covered by the first stage of our widely known method Epikinoniste Ellinika.   This item is the coursebook, and the material has been specially adapted to facilitate the English speaking beginner who is learning Modern Greek.  Hence,

• the introduction is in English;
• the detailed contents are in both English and Greek;
• exercise instructions as well as the titles and explanations in grammar tables are all in English;
• a new appendix has been added in the course book with notes in English on grammar and vocabulary together with some information on everyday life in Greece.

Communicate in Greek for Beginners cannot be categorized as “teach yourself”. Yet, one may easily study and practise on their own material covered when they were absent, or material that was not fully covered or understood in the classroom.

Having completed the material covered in Communicate in Greek for Beginners, the student is sufficiently proficient to be able to continue with the course books, workbooks, and audio corresponding to stages 2 and 3 of the course Epikinoniste Ellinika.
