Some pictures from the volunteer tutor PD event at The Romero Centre on 2 September 2013.  This day was organised in conjunction with the presentation of a donation cheque by Sugarbag on Damper from sales of their ‘A Whole New World’ publication.  The proceeds of this publication go to organisations such as The Romero Centre who are working with refugees and migrants in the community, and providing them with English language tuition and assistance.  The Language People had a display at the event, featuring the Sugarbag on Damper publications – which are all wonderful and especially good for low-level learners of English.
